Volleyball Recap: Burns Sci-Tech Takes a Loss

If Burns Sci-Tech was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Halifax Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy West Melbourne Pioneers on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Burns Sci-Tech has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy West Melbourne, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Burns Sci-Tech will venture away from home to take on Riverbend Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy West Melbourne, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Palm Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
