Baseball Game Preview: Plymouth Bobcats vs. Woodsville Engineers

The Plymouth Bobcats will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Woodsville Engineers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Plymouth is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Nashua North. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 23-3 margin over the Titans on Friday.

Noah Shaw and Turner Oldenburg were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Shaw tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Oldenburg tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Shaw scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Oldenburg scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-6.

In other batting news, Cavan Sanborn was incredible, going 2-for-6 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Rineer, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Woodsville had just enough and edged out Nute 4-2 on Saturday.
