Queen's Grant put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Addi Benton made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alyssa Steele, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Abby Sanders was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Queen's Grant always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy only posted an OBP of .300.

Queen's Grant's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Coincidentally, Queen's Grant and Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy will both be playing Langtree Charter Academy the next time they take the field. Queen's Grant will head out to face Langtree Charter Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
