Soccer Recap: Cox Mill Takes a Loss

Cox Mill and West Cabarrus squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cox Mill had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Cox Mill couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Heath Parks, who's now up to 13 this season.

Cox Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-4. As for West Cabarrus, they pushed their record up to 24-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home.

As of now, neither Cox Mill nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
