Softball Recap: Pequot Lakes Takes a Loss

Pequot Lakes blew Pillager out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Pillager got their revenge. The Patriots fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered against the Huskies since May 16, 2017.

Pequot Lakes now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Pillager, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

While Pequot Lakes had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
