Preview: Peachtree Academy Panthers vs. HALO Wolfpack
After two games on the road, Peachtree Academy is heading back home. They will take on the HALO Wolfpack at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Peachtree Academy suffered their biggest defeat since November 18, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Trinity Prep on the road and fell 71-41. Peachtree Academy has struggled against Trinity Prep recently, as their game on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Peachtree Academy got a solid performance out of Noah Rodriguez, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season.
Meanwhile, HALO pushed their score all the way to 79 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 86-79 to Georgia Force Christian. HALO has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Peachtree Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for HALO, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Peachtree Academy beat HALO 62-52 when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Will Peachtree Academy repeat their success, or does HALO have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
