If Gross Catholic wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wahoo, they should've done a better job of containing Kip Brigham. The Warriors simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Cougars 49-0 for which the team can thank Brigham, who rushed for 258 yards and four TDs while picking up 16.1 yards per carry, and also caught one score. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Wahoo's defense made their presence known, laying out Colton Sweetmon. three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Logan Kelly, Eli Shada, and Jack Krueger, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Wahoo's record is now 4-0. As for Gross Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Wahoo has already played their next game, a 56-14 win against Douglas County West on the 26th. As for Gross Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-7 victory against Boys Town on the 26th.
