Softball Recap: Eastern Musketeers vs. Providence Pioneers

Eastern extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-6. They came up short against the Providence Pioneers, falling 16-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Musketeers of the 5-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Presley Hegedus (2026) was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Livy Theobald (2026), who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Eastern has already played their next game, a 21-9 defeat against Salem on the 16th. As for Providence, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-1 win against Clarksville on the 20th.
