Redlands East Valley waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Beaumont Cougars 10-4. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Cougars on April 1st, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Connor Towns was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eric Rivera, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Redlands East Valley pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Beaumont, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Redlands East Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
