Kokomo has gone a perfect 10-0 against Marion recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Wildkats will be playing at home against the Giants at 10:00 a.m. Kokomo will be strutting in after a win while Marion will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Kokomo beat Richmond 4-1. The victory continues a trend for the Wildkats in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Isaac Flamino spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kokomo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miles Cunningham, who went 2-for-3 with one run. That's the most hits Cunningham has posted over his last nine games.

Meanwhile, Marion might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Oak Hill who claimed the real prize. The Giants took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Giants haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kokomo's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Kokomo beat Marion 14-10 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Wildkats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Giants turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
