After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thompson Valley, Timnath was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Roosevelt Roughriders by a score of 3-1. The Cubs haven't had any issues with the Roughriders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Timnath might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Roosevelt scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Madi Kage and Reese Pope certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Kage had 20 digs and three assists, while Pope had 13 digs. Kage is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Timnath's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Roosevelt, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3.

Timnath has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against University on the 29th. As for Roosevelt, they will challenge Wellington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
