Softball Recap: South Pasadena Comes Up Short

South Pasadena lost against La Canada back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Pasadena saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taelyn Adams, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

South Pasadena's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for La Canada, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Pasadena will welcome San Marino at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for La Canada, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Temple City at 3:30 p.m. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.38 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
