Hurricane put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Capital Cougars a 10-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Peyton Gum as he scored five goals for his team.
Hurricane's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Hurricane will stay at home for another game and welcome Wheeling Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
