Football Recap: East Alton-Wood River Oilers vs. Dupo Tigers
East Alton-Wood River extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 15 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-9. They were outmatched by the Dupo Tigers and fell 69-24. On the bright side, the 24- point effort marked the Oilers' highest-scoring game to date.

Leading Dupo to victory were Deegan Prater and Luke Ellis. Prater threw for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, while Ellis rushed for 97 yards and two scores on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards Ellis has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Tramar Bean, who rushed for 63 yards and one TD on only seven carries.
East Alton-Wood River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dupo, they will take on Salt Fork at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
