Hilliard Bradley waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 49-37 win over the New Albany Eagles. This was payback for the Jaguars, who suffered a 52-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hilliard Bradley found their leader in sophomore Sophia Lopez, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabelle Jantonio, who posted nine points and six steals.

Hilliard Bradley's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for New Albany, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Hilliard Bradley and New Albany could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Hilliard Bradley (ranked 196th) will meet Upper Arlington (ranked ninth) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, New Albany will face off against Grove City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 347 places (378 vs. 31).
