Volleyball Recap: Pipestone Comes Up Short

If Pipestone was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southwest Minnesota Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Arrows lost 3-0 to the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Arrows in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-12.

Pipestone's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Pipestone will face off against Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, they will challenge Southwest Minnesota Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
