Baseball Recap: Pierce City's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Pierce City not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 15-5). Everything went their way against the Lockwood Tigers as they made off with a 10-2 win. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 11-10 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Pierce City's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6. As for Lockwood, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pierce City will venture away from home to challenge Ash Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lockwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Bronaugh at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
