Football Recap: Dimond Falls Short Against Ranked South Anchorage + How To Watch

Dimond faced South Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lynx were dealt a 37-6 loss at the hands of the Wolverines. The Lynx were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Even if they lost, Dimond's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Abraham Tauanuu.

Dimond's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Anchorage, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Dimond wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 24-20 defeat against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 3rd. As for South Anchorage, they have also already played their next game, a 24-19 loss against Service on the 4th.
