Riverdale came into Thursday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Darlington Redbirds on Thursday as they made off with a 10-4 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 back in April.

Riverdale's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Darlington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.

Riverdale and Darlington could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Chieftains (ranked 299th) will meet Cuba City (ranked 35th) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Darlington will face off against Fennimore at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (341 vs. 125).
