Baseball Recap: Hayesville's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hayesville). Everything went their way against the Hiwassee Dam Eagles on Tuesday as the Hayesville Yellowjackets made off with a 17-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Ben Bethel was a standout: he scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Michael Mauney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
