Baseball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pennfield on Saturday, Marshall came back down to earth. The Redhawks fell just short of the Coldwater Cardinals by a score of 9-8 on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Coldwater, they pushed their record up to 14-12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Marshall nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
