Football Game Preview: Centennial Stars vs. Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings

The Centennial Stars will head out on the road to challenge the Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Centennial is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 64 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Northland on Friday. They took a hard 28-11 fall against the Vikings. The Stars haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Villa Angela-St. Joseph). They breezed past John F. Kennedy to the tune of 56-0 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three games in a row.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
