Blythewood piles up the points against South Pointe

The Blythewood Bengals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season. They took their contest on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 63-36 victory over South Pointe. The win was nothing new for Blythewood as they're now sitting on four straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blythewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taurus Lewis Jr, who scored 11 points along with nine assists. That's the first time this season that Lewis Jr posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Will Olden, who scored 11 points along with three steals.

Blythewood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for South Pointe, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Blythewood and Westside will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Westside's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
