 The matchup between Lansing and Seaman  on Tuesday hardly resembled the  2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Lansing Lions wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 18-1 walloping at the hands of the Seaman Vikings. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs Lansing has scored all season.
 For Seaman's part, they got a great performance from  Addison Sibley as she  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Sibley has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Gracie Moe was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  stolen base.  Anna McLaughlin was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double.
 Lansing's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Seaman, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-4.
 Lansing will  face off against Shawnee Mission Northwest on Friday. As for Seaman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washburn Rural at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams will come into the  matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
