Softball Recap: Julian Comes Up Short

Julian and Agricultural Science pushed the score to 11-10 the last time they played Agricultural Science, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Jaguars took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cyclones. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Julian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Agricultural Science, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Julian will venture away from home to take on Goode STEM Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.45 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of. Agricultural Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
