Soccer Recap: Northridge Academy Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Northridge Academy after they claimed the first goal on Monday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the East Valley Falcons by a score of 2-1. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pumas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Northridge Academy and nudges their season record down to 8-6-2. As for East Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge Academy will square off against Vaughn at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Valley, they will face off against Fulton at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Valley is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
