O'Dea and Ballard are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Fighting Irish will challenge the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. O'Dea's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

O'Dea took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Seattle Prep, sneaking past 2-1. The win was all the more spectacular given O'Dea's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Seattle Prep are ranked 56th).

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Ballard and Lincoln, and Lincoln kept the tradition alive. The Beavers fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Ballard's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-3. As for O'Dea, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9-2.

O'Dea came out on top in a nail-biter against Ballard in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Fighting Irish repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
