Pleasant Valley won the last time they faced William Allen and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bears blew past the Canaries 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

While Pleasant Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Emmerson DeLuna, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven contests. Another player making a difference was Lila Borger, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Pleasant Valley now has a winning record of 9-8-2. As for William Allen, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
