Football Recap: Colonia Patriots vs. Ridge Red Devil

Colonia had a senior duo take command as Rj Wortman picked up 129 receiving yards and one TD and Dylan Chiera threw for 214 yards and one touchdown. Wortman's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 113 receiving yards.

Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Donley, who rushed for 63 yards and one score. Nick Pfennig helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Colonia is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.8 points over those games. As for Ridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
