Softball Recap: Clay County Comes Up Short

Clay County lost against Jackson County last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell 7-4 to the Generals. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Sizemore made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Clay County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Jackson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Clay County nor Jackson County have any future games scheduled.
