Football Recap: Pahokee Takes a Loss

If Pahokee was feeling good fresh off their 26-0 takedown of Pine last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pahokee Blue Devils lost 21-0 to the South Fork Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Savannah Tatum continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for South Fork, rushing for 41 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 94 yards and one touchdown.

Pahokee's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South Fork, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pahokee will take on Inlet Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glades Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Glades Central 14.3, South Fork 3.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
