Basketball Game Preview: High Point Wildcats vs. Mount Olive Marauders

The High Point Wildcats and the Mount Olive Marauders will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. High Point will be strutting in after a win while Mount Olive will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, High Point beat American Christian School 35-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Mount Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 30-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Whippany Park.

Mount Olive's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for High Point, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything came up roses for High Point against Mount Olive in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as the team secured a 54-21 victory. Will High Point repeat their success, or does Mount Olive have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
