Soccer Game Preview: Athens vs. Chapel Hill

The Athens Hornets will head out to square off against the Chapel Hill Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Athens is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Lindale on Friday. Athens fell just short of Lindale by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chapel Hill). They put the hurt on Brownsboro with a sharp 6-0 win on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Athens has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Chapel Hill, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.
