Baseball Recap: St. Rita Takes a Loss

After flying high against Marist last Friday, St. Rita came back down to earth. St. Rita fell just short of the Thompson Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

St. Rita saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Clark, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

St. Rita now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Thompson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-10 record this season.

St. Rita will challenge Lakewood at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Thompson, they will face off against Prattville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
