Football Recap: Keys Gate Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Keys Gate can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Edison Red Raiders and fell 33-0. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Red Raiders are ranked 14th).

Rakyia Louis was her usual excellent self, throwing for 262 yards and four TDs while completing 78.6% of her passes, and also punching in one rushing score for Edison. Louis is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for four or more in each of the last four games she's played. Malayisa David also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Keys Gate moved to 7-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Edison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.
