Potter-Dix gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Leyton Warriors, sneaking past 2-1. For the Coyotes, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Potter-Dix who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 7-25, 25-18.

Coincidentally, Potter-Dix and Leyton will both be playing Minatare the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Indians on Thursday, while the Coyotes will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
