Volleyball Recap: Shasta Victorious

Shasta's tournament run continued when they took on Liberty Ranch on Saturday. The Wolves walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Olivia Ferguson paced Shasta's offense, picking up eight kills. Ferguson got some help from Sophie Smith and her 18 assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Shasta's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Liberty Ranch, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Shasta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against San Marin on the 20th. As for Liberty Ranch, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Douglas on the 20th.
