Basketball Recap: Kinta Comes Up Short

Kinta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 62-48 fall against the Gore Pirates. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2015.

Kinta's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Gore, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kinta will venture away from home to take on Oktaha at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gore, they will head out on the road to challenge Panama at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
