Plainfield will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Johnson, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Plainfield came out on top in a nail-biter against Johnson two weeks ago, sneaking past 67-65. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Ridge came up short against Phillipsburg on Monday and fell 46-37.

Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Plainfield, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
