Even though they lost, Mission Hills didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with 11 strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Del Norte only tossed seven.

Poway is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6-1 record this season. As for Mission Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9-2.
