Basketball Recap: Sandhills Valley's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sandhills Valley waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Sandhills/Thedford Knights by a score of 47-37. This was payback for the Mavericks, who suffered a 64-62 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sandhills Valley had a senior duo take command as Kyle Kramer dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards and Leyton Connell posted 11 points along with five assists and five steals. Kramer has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 19 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaac Goosey, who scored ten points and five rebounds.

Sandhills Valley pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sandhills/Thedford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Sandhills Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-38 win against Maxwell on the 23rd. Sandhills/Thedford has also already played their next game (against Anselmo-Merna), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
