Volleyball Recap: L.E.A.D. Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

L.E.A.D. Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Jay Royals. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Royals when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

L.E.A.D. Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-9, 25-13.

Adriana Stephens paced L.E.A.D. Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Stephens were helped by Jordan Dean and Kate Mackey, who contributed two assists each.

L.E.A.D. Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Jay, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

L.E.A.D. Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Pensacola Area Homeschool on the 19th. As for Jay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Chipley on the 20th.
