Lee had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-17 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Beaumont United Timberwolves 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Ganders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Beaumont United, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since February 27th.

For Beaumont United's part, Desmond Griffin made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs. Mason Richardson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.
