Softball Recap: Old Fort Stockaders vs. Seneca East Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Danbury, Old Fort was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Seneca East Tigers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Old Fort considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Audra Miller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits. Miller has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Miller was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.
