Hesperia is 10-0 against Burroughs since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hesperia Scorpions are taking a road trip to challenge the Burroughs Burros at 4:30 p.m. Hesperia's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hesperia's offense. They fell just short of Serrano by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Scorpions came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 339th, while the Diamondbacks are ranked 1007th).

Meanwhile, Burroughs also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 3-0 to Sultana on Thursday.

Hesperia's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-4. As for Burroughs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-2 record this season.

Hesperia took their win against Burroughs in their previous matchup on January 9th by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hesperia since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
