Football Game Recap: Lebanon vs. Newport

Newport had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-34 punch to the gut against Lebanon on Friday. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Newport will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Stevens at 1:30 PM. Lebanon are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Trinity next week at 7:00 PM.
