Soccer Recap: St. Benedict at Auburndale's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Agnes Academy, St. Benedict at Auburndale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northpoint Christian Trojans, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for St. Benedict at Auburndale as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. Benedict at Auburndale's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Northpoint Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Looking ahead, St. Benedict at Auburndale is taking a road trip to take on First Assembly Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northpoint Christian, they will square off against Lausanne Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
