Basketball Recap: Mitchell County Eagles vs. Seminole County Indians
Mitchell County lost against Seminole County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mitchell County Eagles took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminole County Indians. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Indians are ranked 107th).

When it comes to explaining why Mitchell County lost, don't look at Sariyah Chester. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Chester is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Layla Mango was another key player, putting up three points and six assists.
Even though they lost, Mitchell County was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seminole County only racked up five assists.
