Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Pisgah's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Pisgah got themselves on the board against East Henderson on Tuesday, but East Henderson never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Bears have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sadie Messer looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Pisgah let Rylee Campbell and Savannah Dickerson run wild. Campbell went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Dickerson went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Dickerson has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mack Jones, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Pisgah is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for East Henderson, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pisgah will challenge Enka at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jets will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Henderson, they will square off against Smoky Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
