Basketball Recap: Chesterfield's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Chesterfield waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the North Central Knights with a sharp 41-20 victory. The Golden Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Chesterfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Rivers led the charge by dropping a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Chesterfield is 4-2 when Rivers posts ten or more boards, but 6-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Terrahjah Robinson, who posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Chesterfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Chesterfield pushed their record up to 10-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points over those games. As for North Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
